How the grade is calculated
The higher of two models
Grades are on a 0–20 scale. AC is the Class Evaluation on that same scale, so 0.2·AC is simply your CE points (CE is worth at most 4 of the 20). You need at least 8.5 in the exam.
Class Evaluation (CE)
Worth 20% of the final grade, made of three parts. CE = RP + RA + CC.
Preparation as a Raven: your performance in the meeting with the other Ravens, acting as the team’s messenger.
The Raven component: your individual performance as the team’s messenger during the in-class presentation.
Class Challenges: the scores of each of the 10 challenges, added up.

Academic fraud
- Any case of academic fraud will be dealt with rigorously in accordance with the Code of Conduct, known to and signed by all students upon admission to Nova SBE.
- Situations that may indicate academic fraud are analysed individually and discussed with the Pedagogical Council, which may authorize an oral examination if the instructors consider it necessary to clarify the knowledge effectively acquired.
- If a student is summoned to an oral examination for suspected fraud in an exam or a continuous-assessment component and does not show the knowledge required to pass, their final grade corresponds to the mark obtained in the oral examination.
